Destroyed by fire 1881.
Joined Cayuga Presbytery.
This marker was erected by the Sterling Historical Society in 1993.
After the 1881 fire the Dutch Reformed Church traded the property to John Dietel for a lot on Richmond Avenue where they reorganized and built the Presbyterian Church which still stands there. The marker is located on Church Street in front of John Dietel’s home, now known as Whispering Pines. Map
